    Equine Herpesvirus Forces Quarantine At Douglas County Horse Stable

    FRANKTOWN, Colo. (CBS4) – The first case of equine (Horse) herpes has surfaced in Colorado.
    The virus infected the neurological system of the horse and it had to be euthanized. Now state veterinarian Dr. Keith Roehr has placed that facility under quarantine for the next couple of weeks.
    Two other horses riding in the same trailer went to two other stables in Colorado. Those two are under a hold order so they can be observed until veterinarians are certain they’re not also infected or contagious....

    It's not herpes/herpes. It's the flu and some versions of it can cause neurological damage. it is highly contagious, but it's spread by air, not by horse sex, so don't worry moobs, you should be fine. :cheer::frantic::rofl:
