Should restaurant & store owners be forbidden by law to serve obese/overweight people?

Bar owners, grocery & liquor store owners can (and have been) prosecuted for serving/selling alcohol to people who were intoxicated .....Should this same philospohy be implemtned for people with excessive BMI's ?? ...As with alcoholics, sometimes its the intervening of others that finally wakes them up to their life threatening addictive behavior.....

Yes, they nee to eat..... But they don't need Cheeseburgers, Pizza, Chips, Cookies etc ....All of these types of empty calorie foods aren't required to sustain life. ..If they brings apples, chicken breast, etc. to the check out stand, they'd be allowed to purchase these kinds of items

There may not be a limit, but if you go to the grocery store and appear to be under the influence (even if you have a bus-pass in your hand) they will not sell you alcohol

The medical costs associated with obesity are astronomical ...All the prescription meds that have to be dispensed (and paid for by insurance companies and/or taxpayers) because of obesity related health issues (high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol meds, etc etc) ....All the visits to the ER, & subsequent hospital stays , all the missed work.......Overweight people generally don't just drop dead out of the blue without having a loooong trail of doctor visits, hospital stays, & daily prescription med cocktails..... . If it was just a matter of them dying younger than normal, there would be no need for discussion
