Almost 24 million subs and $3.4 billion in revenue with the increase attributed to the strong car market and more availability in used cars, not a word about Howard:

But that price hike appears to have had little effect on Sirius’s subscriber growth, which has been helped by an improved market for new cars as well as the gradual spread of Sirius’s availability in used cars. The company says that 50 million cars now on the road are able to receive Sirius.

Come on..not a word about Stern? I mention of the "AGT influence" in those subscription totals? Surely being "America's Judge" had to have had some sort of impact.

Being real..this has been the course since day 1. Sirius/XM have been putting trial subscriptions in cars since 2006, and those numbers..not Stern..forced an increase in subscriptions and of course the all might "merger". Now they are hitting the used car move, especially in an economy where people cannot qualify for a new car, and have to go the used car route. Of course..I am just being a "hater".

The reason why car companies went with Sirius over XM is because Stern made Sirius, well, serious.
