Sirius suggested Howard bring the show to Vegas for a week

On today's show (Tuesday) Howard said that Sirius suggested he do something big on the show like go to Vegas (like the old days). Howard didn't want to do it. Why? Why doesn't Howard want to do fun things for the show anymore? Vegas would have been awesome.

Howard was just in vegas for AGT. It's probably a huge pain to do the show from Vegas. Why should howard do anything he doesn't want to and isnt' being paid extra for. I can't blame him for not doing it. Would have been cool if he did it, but I can understand why he wouldn't want to.

Because now that he has the lump payment and all production cost come out of that money, he will never foot the bill. He will just pocket the money himself. It's what he's been doing for years now and why no REAL talent has been added since Artie left. It's also why cheap no talents like Benjy( just a no talent fat fuck. Unless you think screaming is talent), Sal and Richard( even though I like them personally but hate their one trick phony phone calls) work there

No he could have done the radio show either the week before or the week after the AGT Vegas week, it comes down to marbles and effort.

My guess is Sirius owing him money.And Sirius firing/cutting/no buget for his people(Bubba,Ferrall,Artie,HTV).And showing all the love for Oprah(Putting her picture in the front of the building)Jamie Foxx,and Eminem when they haven't done any promotion for Sirius..Just a guess.

Howard just wants more more more money for less less less work he doesn't give a damn if we like it, subscribe or not. He doesn't care if we miss the artie chair or what we want or like. he has everything in his court as far as power and he is gonna milk it until the end.

I'm sure attending the vegas shows was a blast, but listening to them which is the main point of the show, sucked ass.

Sirius probably has begun to feel the heat of losing subscribers due the mediocrity of Howie's show. They know that the content is so bad, that something has to be done to create excitement and draw in (or back) listeners and subscribers. I can only image how bad the show will be when Howie's fragile psyche is crushed by his failed coronation on tv. This could get real ugly, real fast.

Incorrect, those shows were very exciting and entertaining. But they wont happen thanks to Sirius/XM not paying Howard his money.

According to Howard, the Vegas shows aren't high enough in quality..... and since he thinks he knows what his fans want, he won't do shows outside the studio.

Even with several hotels probably willing to put the entire crew up for free with perks, Howard would still have to come up with the budget for travel, etc...essentially out of his own pocket.
The Vegas shows were classic and it's too bad that Howie is willing to fly private to St Louis, etc for AGT, the show will never ever leave NYC again. Bank on it.

Fucking ridiculous...all the morning shows around here on testicle radio always do live shows at casinos, restaurants, etc. etc. the shows translate fine over the airwaves and come across even better because of the crowd reacting to what the hosts are saying...yet the biggest radio show ever can't seem to pull it off...in 2012? quite sad imo.

I would love to go to a Vegas show!
