One week after being uploaded on Youtube, the song “Stink Pipe” by Darby has accrued an astounding 149 views making it a bona fide smash hit. “Only 149 views can make a song a smash hit?” you ask. Absolutely. Considering there’s been no media push behind the song and it has been released by a complete unknown. When asked about the success of “Stink Pipe” Darby responded, “Who gives a shit.”

All you need is a verse, a bridge, and an ending and you'll have yourself a complete song. Keep up the good work.

There's no need for any of that. This song is the wave of the future. People's attention spans only are good for about a minute. So an intro-less quick verse going directly into a catchy chorus is all you need. Remember, you are dealing with real life Beavis's and Butthead's today and it's only going to get worse. This song will be regarded as an epic in the future much like "Free Bird" from Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Layla" from Derek and the Dominoes, "Stairway to Heaven" from Led Zeppelin, "A Day in the Life" by the Beatles, "Jungleland" by Bruce Springsteen, or "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen is regarded today.

ha, clicked, and thought the song was good, and sounded very familiar. then i realized i had pandora on and was in fact actually listening to a good song. then i played your song in silence and thought it was awful.
