Good game today. Our offense looked good but our D looked like.....:crapper:
Hopefully they can fix that defense soon.

The way the game played out today will open up the running game next week at home. The Gmen will be protecting against those big pass plays and MBII and Felix should be able to run wild.

Should be a good one. Both teams will get their first real test.
  4. lampkinsr Full Member

Yep. I think it will be a really great game. There will be a lot of hype leading up to this one.
  5. johnni44 Full Member

Agreed. Shame it's coming so early in the year. What the hell are the schedule makers thinking?
They should wait for the bad weather to have the Texas games....Not now.
  6. lampkinsr Full Member

I don't know WHAT they are thinking. Oh, and the last 5 weeks of the season for the Cowboys is: Giants, San Diego, New Orleans, Washington then Philly. Unreal.
  7. johnni44 Full Member

That is a tough finish. Good to see plenty of inter-divisionals to end the year. I see more than one of those having huge playoff ramifications.
  8. johnni44 Full Member

Our last 5 ain't much easier
    Dallas-Philadelphia-Washington-Carolina-Minnesota

Minn is the only easy one.
  9. lampkinsr Full Member

I hope so. That's why they need to blaze going into the bye week 6. They could realisticly be 4-1 going into the bye. 5-0 if we can trip up the GMen next week. After the bye, there is only 1 game that looks like it will be easy, Oakland. Other than that it is a tough schedule. The divisional games being clearly the toughest.

I hate for anyone to get hurt, but Hakeem Nicks not playing this week can only help us. I watched a lot of him here, being a Tarheels fan, and that kid is really good and is going to be really, really good. He can bust the big one at any time.

Former Cowboy Chris Canty is out for Sunday night's game.

    NFL.com Wire Reports

Chris Canty's return to Dallas will have to wait.

The New York Giants defensive lineman missed practice Thursday with a calf injury, and a league source told NFL Network's Jason La Canfora that Canty will not play in Sunday night's game against the Cowboys.

Canty, who left the Cowboys to sign with the Giants as a free agent this offseason, was hurt in practice Wednesday and will miss a game for the first time in his five-year NFL career. He received treatment Thursday while the Giants practiced.

Giants starting safety Kenny Phillips (knee) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday and had a couple of interceptions. Michael Johnson, the other starting safety, missed his second practice with a shoulder injury, but coach Tom Coughlin believes the third-year pro has a chance to play. Linebacker Michael Boley (hip) showed improvement and has a shot at playing, according to Coughlin.

I liked Romos line after throwing Austin the TD pass. "Hell of a job, cept who got me killed." :jj:

I thought you would like the line I will kiss you if you call this play. Tony Homo.
  19. Ultra Warrior Full Member

Did you notice that the play he was requesting resulted in that TD to Roy Williams? True it may sound gay of Romo to offer a kiss to be able to do a play but we KNOW ( from Strahan mouth this week on the show ) that Eli had a dudes BALLS in his hand.

should be a good game, sucks Canty and Ross will be out. Boley is back from 1 game suspension though. I think the Giants D will be able to contain Romo and Co...

I'm looking forward to it bigtime. I have a feeling that special teams will be the star of this game one way or another. There will either be a ton of punts or a ton of kickoff returns.
  22. Maximus06 Full Member

or a ton of punt do-overs :jj:
  23. lampkinsr Full Member

YOUSONOFABITCH!!! I'm gonna beat you this week in ff. :D

I can't decide whether to start Reggie Bush against you or not...damn autopick, I never would have taken him :D
  25. lampkinsr Full Member

Reggie Bush is garbage. I have zero respect for his game, so yes, go ahead and start him:D
