I can sort of get it with Thor and his tranny brother, but the story sucks ass when even Scarlett Johanssen is indestructable. The faggot from The Town with the never ending supply of arrows can't be killed. Closet homo Captain America, whose only power is his magic shield, can't be killed.

What's the point of all that fighting and shooting if nothing hurts them, ever. Not even a weakness, no kryponite, nothing.

Of course they CAN die. Why would they want to kill anyone off in the first movie if they're going to make sequels? That makes no sense. I'm sure they'll stay true mostly true to the comics, and probably show when they do die. Did you know there's an Avengers cartoon featuring the kids of the Avengers? Thor is the only one who lived.
