I grew up a Raider fan because my mom and her family were Raider fans but I've always been a fan of the Patriots. Such a great team!

    Playoff predictions.

Beat Steelers and Ravens then lose to NO in SB. I don't think anybody is stopping Brees this year.

    McDaniels is back.

WildPapsmear must be frothing at the mouth.

    Unless for some Tebow magic.

I can't imagine Denver winning. Unless god and jesus are attending the game.

So it's definite that the Pats play the winner of the Denver/Pittsburgh game?

Couldn't ask for an easier road to the AFC Championship. :)

is it as easy a game as when you beat the Giants in the SUper Bowl and had a perfect season. Nope. I think teh Pats will win but it will be close. If the broncos trust tebow to pass more like today they could make it a close game.

Guys must have missed Patriots raping the Broncos a couple weeks ago.

They won't give Tebow all day to throw and play Thomas one on one for the deep ball.

It will be a close game, but Patriots win 24-17.

LOL, it's not going to be close at all. Pats by at least 20.
  16. Syxxpac78 Full Member

I don't think it will be close. Maybe in the first qtr and a half, but the Pats will have Chung and Spikes healthy. Tebow will revert back to his 7 of 20 self and the pats romp by 2 td's. I just hope the Texans can somehow pull of an upset....
  17. johnni44 Full Member

While I agree with you that the Pats will win it won't be because of the pass rush. What the fuck makes you think the Pats front 4 will fare any better than the Steelers??

Fact is, the only reason the Pats will beat Tebow will be their offense. Tebow looked great yesterday (as any QB would) as his O line gave him enough time to write War and Peace back there. That, and 24 for the Steelers has got to be the worst corner I've ever seen.

The weather will also be a factor as it will turn cold just in time. Soon the media blow job of Tim will be over. I loved Denver's first few posessions. He threw once in about the first 9 plays.

And how about that stat that they only scored 1 (throwing) TD in 22 drives???? Holy fuck, that is like 4 or 5 games.
  19. johnni44 Full Member

How can you say such a thing? Time threw for a whopping 93 yards......against the Pats no less.
  20. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

They won't bring 3-4 man rushes like Pittsburgh. Last game they didn't fall for the option either as they went right for Tebow forcing a couple key turnovers.

Patriots always win with their offense, but I think the defense can force some turnovers.
  21. johnni44 Full Member

Agree with you on the option. I didn't pay as close attention as you did but from what I did see there were few, if any option calls. Not sure if Chung was spying on that play. Regardless, Tebow's game was a product off pocket protection and even with that he could only put up 2 throwing TD's. Any other good QB puts up 4 to 5 minimum.
  22. Syxxpac78 Full Member

Chung was out that game and Matthew Slater played most of the game at safety. Pats need to stop the run first and foremost and let Tebow beat us in the air, plus Chung is healthy and Brandon Spikes is back hopefully close to 100%. I also read Eeric decker is out for this game which is big for the Broncos. I could very well see a 2-9 with 2 int's, 1 fumble performance from Tebow in the first half and have Brady Quinn time to start the second.

I really hope the Patriots treat Denver the way they did a few weeks ago. I do not want to see tebow continue forward

    So far so good.
