And Letangs dive after the save was embarrassing, he should be suspended for that...fucking ridiculous....way to take a great sport and turn it into soccer...pussy.

    Nice pics.

I agree the 2 Panther goals were breakdowns on D. The first goal Volch got burned...you can tell the flu has slowed him a little. Volchenkov was a step behind all night...hopefully he gets better soon.

Kovy and Zach had a few nice chances but overall they weren't great. Two sides to that, I'm happy they can win when that line does nothing but I'm a little nervous that they were held off the scoresheet and they were all -1. I don't think Zach and Kovy have been bad playoff performers but they have a lot to prove.

It looked like there were a good number of Devils fans there...How many NJ fans do you think were in the building?

Devils fan at the game = a few hundred

Canucks need to shake things up and I think Schneider would give them a boost.

The media and fans get sucked into how teams are playing in the regular season. The Pens played pretty well down the stretch with the exception of the 2 Isles games.

One thing that a lot of the so called experts and some fans believe, what you do in the playoffs is when it counts. The Pens have been awful these 2 games. It is not looking good for them, but if they can somehow win on Sunday maybe they get some life or maybe now.

I did listen to WFAN and ESPN Radio and there are huge expectations with the Rangers this year after being the 1 seed. Even when the Pens lost game 1 I heard some of them saying the Rangers have a great chance of winning the cup now.

The bottom line is if you have a good team you will be predicted to win the cup. Right now as a Pens fan I could not be further disappointed with this team.

Bryzgalov gave up alot of goals, but I think he played pretty damn good. Pens could have easily put up 10 goals last night. His glove hand was strong as the biggest play was save on Letang which lead to Talbot shorty.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. Gionta still plays for the Devils? :D I can almost understand the Panthers fans. They have gone 12 years without seeing their Panthers in the playoffs. They might have forgot the game.

The Devils really should get more attention from a national and local level. They have some stars on that team. I see the Preds will be on NBC tomorrow. I am not sure they ever been on NBC. Playing the Wings does not hurt. NBC is actually having a doubleheader and NBCSN gets the other 2 games.

That is awesome that the Panthers have a couple diehards, but are old. Hopefully they can influence the younger generation to get into the Panthers. Brodeur sounds like he wants to play a few more years, but his pride could get to him if he does not perform up to his capabilities.

The Pens have stunk, can't sugarcoat it any better.

I am shocked about the Canucks losing their first 2 against the Kings. Game 1 was Richard's line and Game 2 was all about Dustin Brown. Quick had 46 saves last night, so give LA some credit.

    Gametime in Boston coming soon!!

Not Brian Gionta, Stephan Gionta, his younger brother. 2nd game in the NHL also for him.
It was funny watching him go at it with Jovanovski alot last night. Little guy vs old big guy.
The only reason the Preds are on national TV tomorrow is because they are playing the Red Wings. Same shit as the regular season, only Pittsburgh, NY Rangers, Detriot, and Boston are apparently worthy of being on the big networks....I used to go so sick and tired of the bullshit in the 90's, Detriot, Colorado and Dallas were the favorites back then...I'm sure some of you guys remember.

    Fuck the Flyers.
  15. A.Lange=Crazy Full Member

Devils fans are obsessed with the Flyers lol.

Be glad you got the worse team in the playoffs instead of the Penguins or it would be an early exit.

I did not know Brian Gionta had a brother, my bad!!!! Even though the Preds are against the Wings it is nice to see them on NBC. The problem is I think the Devils are more marketable then the Preds by a mile, but look who the Devils opponent is the first round. The Wild have been on NBC when they have Hockey Day In America, but that is it. It would be nice to see some of the west coast teams on NBC: Ducks, Kings, Sharks, etc. The Avs and Dallas were so popular back then. Now those teams have had a decline in attendance.

Can this game in Boston please start!!!!!

Who is that Canuck that is photoshopped?

Tim Thomas looking sharp in the early part of the game. Ovechkin drew the Caps first power play.

    Kesler diving, hahahha

Not sure of the wisdom there. Not having Sedin is a big deal to the 'Nucks. How Keith is playing is beyond me. I mean he basically head hunted him with intent to injure and mission accomplished.
  22. WhatRUSaying Full Member

Where do you get some of your gifs and pictures? That is pretty funny, but an unfortunate injury to the Bruins player.

Green with the penalty, but Caps doing a nice job killing this off.

Ovechkin looks to have his legs so far, but no score.

Another penalty. Am I watching the Wings/Preds? :D
  23. johnni44 Full Member

pretty ho-hum game compared to last night.
  24. WhatRUSaying Full Member

Both teams were playing cautious. It almost felt like game 1 of a series when the teams are feeling each other out. Goals are not coming in this series.
  25. MartyBrodeur30 Full Member

We must be jealous of the Flyers winning so much over the last 35 years.

Shanny says he doesn't suspend a player who commits a dirty hit because the player he hit wasn't hurt. So shouldn't it work both ways?? Keith should be suspended for as long as Sedin is out???
