    Well that sucked. Sox just didn't show up at all out west and today they had a good ol chokejob from Papelbon. Lot of issues to address in the offseason, but I need ometime to digest this season. Papelbons stats may have looked good this season, but his watching him on a nightly basis he was very average. There was hardly an easy save, he walked a ton of people and when he got out, they were hard hit fly ball outs. I think he has a year of arbitration left, but I'm not sure. I still think Bard needs another year of seasoning before he takes over the closer role......................4 months to spring training.......Go Halos

    How the fuck can Terry or Theo not be fired for this. The NY media would have eaten both alive. Lose Tex at the last second because Theo couldn't close the deal, blow an 8-10 game AL East lead, starting Lester over Josh, getting knocked out of the playoffs by a team they dominated and having the 2nd highest payroll in the AL with a first round TKO?

    And the Sox are only getting older and older. Now their payroll will have to jump up even more....

    And with your logic, why wasn't Cashman and Girardi fired last year for not making the playoffs at all with the highest payroll in baseball?
