The real Rove cover up

The WH and GOP don't care if Rove goes down in flames for treason. That's not what this is about.

It's all meant to distract from what set Rove's behavior in motion in the first place: the lies we were told to take us into Iraq.

Whether or not you believe the war is appropriate, it's undeniable at this point that lies WERE told in order to sell the case for war to the people and to Congress.

Because the public can't remember a whole lot at once, and then not for very long, they (the criminals) are hoping too much detail will keep debate going, and prevent a consensus from forming.

For those of us who care about the rule of law in our own government:
What issues should we be emphasizing? Are Rove's convoluted comments to reporters the wisest choice?

Weren't you douchebags all fired up about Delay a couple months ago? How long before this Rove thing flames out like the non-story that it is?

Indictments or not, this is hardly a 'non-story'. This type of behavior is old hat for Rove and he has finally been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.... Payback is a bitch--Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall :D

Let them keep going. They're just digging deeper. Kinda funny to watch.

What ever happened to the Delay story, anyway?

Yeah that is the problem these dumb lying pathetic decieving motherfuckers give the left so much to dig into that no story is in the media that the reichwingers watch.. the faux news fucks never hear about the downing street memos because those fuckers at Faux news do not cover it.. I watch that Faux news shit.. they are so obsessed with that young blond chick in Aruba that they do not have enough time left on the show to talk about anything of importance.. It is so hard to believe that people can be in support of something that is not in their best interest.. the reichwingers buy into the whole bullshit about making it rich.. and seemingly they want to turn into rich assholes that they are willing to pratice at it before they win that fucking lottery. All this shit so people can buy the newest technology.. human race,,, rat race,,, what is the difference sometimes ?

Watch out if Rove goes down. Bush will slowly crumble, as will the whole administration. It is a matter of time anyway. See any let up in the suicide bombings in Iraq? He fucked with the wrong part of the world, because he thinks "he's the man." He should have listened to the Beetlejuice song. Then he'd know that Beetle's the man, not Bush.

hey douchebag, the grand jury should be finished in two months and we'll see what the special prosecutor has to say. as a chicago resident i can say that fitzgerald doesn't fuck around. just ask george ryan and now daly. thw white house knows this is serious, hence the hurried supreme court nomination.

yeah man, no way bush would have made this announcement this soon. he wanted to get the rove story off the front page. otherwise, he would have waited at least a week or two.

At least two Republican strategists with close ties to the White House said they expect the nomination to come before the end of the week. A third strategist said the White House wants to divert news coverage from Karl Rove, a Bush aide at the center of a media frenzy over who leaked the identity of a CIA official.
