Well your whole thing is that if there was no religion and no "purpose" to life, we'd all be morally bankrupt murder machines. Where do you get your evidence of that?

That's a concept I struggle with often....SOMETHING had to begin from nothing ..The question is: What?? ....A Supreme-being/God that created & consequently controls the Universe?.... Or a sudden appearance of atomic & sub-atomic material immediately followed a gigantic, rapid expansion of said material that blasted outwardly at a blindingly fast velocity (and continues to expand even today) from its center.... forming Stars, Planets, Black Holes, Solar systems, comets, etc etc.. as it continues to ever expand away from its starting point..... Either concept is far more complex than anything I can wrap my brain around

Why are there morals

There's a cool Lawrence Krauss lecture on YouTube titled something like 'a universe from nothing' ...he deals with a pretty good part of the big bang/energy debt/matter thing. Though understanding the first cause is yet not possible. But they don't seem to be sure that there wasn't something before the current theorized big bang. Might even be multiple repeating big bangs.

Morals are behavior traits passed down genetically though evolution.

Just like evolving physical traits to adapt to our environments... moral behavior traits evolved and kept us from killing eachother and caused us to show empathy to each other. Populations that had less developed morals didn't succeed like ones that did. Over the years you get more of what succeeds.

I do not doubt in God because of it, sometimes have experiences of euphoria. Then again I might be an undiagnosed hypomanic or something lol.
