There is no comparing Howard to Leno in this. Howard said clearly before starting contract talks that he wanted to work less and have more flexibility in his scedule. He got both things he wanted. He also didn't take a pay cut. He cut back the show more than 25% but only took a 20% reduction in salary. An increase in dollars per hour is called a raise djenkin8, something Howard clearly stated on the show. Leno on the other hand is not cutting back his hours he's just taking less money to help out his show and staff, something the soulless Howard would never consider

Howie wouldn't even dish out some of his budget money to get another comedian in the studio with him..he would rather sit there and talk to Robin and take lame jokes from Benjy. If Howie DID care about the show, he would have put some of that budget money towards another voice in the room...and does Howie care about his staff? Hell no...he didn't want John to succeed, and pissed on Gary a few years back when he was trying to better himself by doing the "Gadget Gary" thing and contacting other producers...he cares about himself and that is it.
