Ok now its Treys fault cause he just shouldve calld 911. Zimm called 911. but couldnt leave it along and still tailed the kid even after being told not too. Once again a double standard. Blaming the victim.
  3. NC-Stern-Mark Full Member

That's right, he should have called 911 instead of breaking zimmermans nose and trying to crack his head on the sidewalk.

It would have worked out much better for him, don't you agree Timmy?

What proof do you have that he continued to trail him, especially since the altercation happened right near Zimmerman's car?

Obama didn't discuss the case. he said there was an investigation, that's it. He didn't say the kid should be arrested. He didn't say that the Stand Your Ground defense wasn't applicable. You know who did? Santorum and Gingrich. And Romney went as far as Obama and said there should be an investigation and his heart was out to the Martin family. So tell me, what did Obama say that was so extremely upsetting?

You gotta be shittin' me dude. I don't have any anger over this. There are about 45 murders every day in the US, but the media, and liberals like Jesse and Al, chose this one to be their rallying cry. ANd the President chooses to stick his nose into the middle of this? Seriously? It's another case of rushing to judgment and a media-created frenzy that feeds into this liberal manifesto.

In a nearby city, there was a recent murder of a cab driver, a father of 3, in broad daylight. One of the black passengers in the back seat decided to shoot him in the back of the head in broad daylight, but there's no Al...no Jesse....no MSNB....no black protests...nothing.

Martin was slamming the guys his into the ground and could have knocked him unconscious or killed him. The gun stopped the assault. They do that sometimes.

Retired. But don't let that make you think influence doesn't matter. I am a local government employee. About 4 years ago I got a DUI. I blew a .198 I was charged with careless driving. Got supervision on that. No SR22 no classes.

    Influence does matter.

Zimmerman avoided conviction on both counts by entering a pretrial-diversion program, something common for first-time offenders.

Shouldn't a thread on minority vs minority shooting (dog bites man) be moved to the wgas forum?
  15. Chrisfromvegas Full Member

Your probably right. Like this should be front page news.
  16. Reverend Tyler Full Member

Also the controversy in that they know who killed him but he wasn't arrested.
  17. sir1us Full Member

still doesn't explain Zimmerman following him, and 911 telling him to back off. Put down the paint chips before you speak.

If those idiot Floridians couldn't convict Casey Anthony, there's 0% chance of Zimmerman ever doing time...

so what? Cry more about it then, seriously WGAS, justice isn't always fair. The left makes this issue about the dead kid and the right complains about Obama speaking about it and hoodies, both sides have their opinions and that's the way it's going to be. Honestly, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have little to no juice left and they leech onto stories like just to stay in the mainstream, plus they have been doing this for years, it's nothing new. We're in an election year, the stories and issues people care about WILL go all the way to the top, they want to see what their elected leaders have to say about it. This could all turn about to be like the Chris Benoit case, everyone feels sorry for him at first but then when all the details come out it's like fuck that guy, burn in hell. A black kid getting gunned down in Florida doesn't effect my life, you shouldn't let the actions of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton effect yours either.

A big deal has been made of the dispatcher telling zimmerman we don't need you to be doing that, (following martin) and on the tape, zimmerman almost immediately says OK, so what the hell???

    exactly

people have changed her actual words to a completely alternative reality where "he was ordered by the police to remain in his car and he didn't"

she asked if he was following him, he said he was, she simply said, "Ok, we don't need you to do that".

    It's like:

    "I'm doing the dishes"

"We don't need you to do the dishes"

doesn't mean, "I insist that you are not to do the dishes" or "I demand that you stop doing the dishes" and it certainly doesn't mean, "you were told to go to your room"

PS: Oh yeah.... forgot, he is allowed to follow him. Simply following someone on a public street is legal.
  22. NC-Stern-Mark Full Member

I see it the same way and I try to keep in mind the man was acting as a neighborhood watch but I also hear him comply immediately by saying OK.

I will also admit, following the kid while carrying concealed was a bad idea. Just look what happened.

People need to remember, you can deploy effective non-lethal devices like pepper-spray and tasers. You don't want to be George Zimmerman and that may be the goal of those orchestrating the protests, to make people think twice before they shoot and to tell you the truth, there is nothing wrong with that.
  23. Mr Hand Full Member

all true, but we still don't know what happened

for all we know, he did stop following him and just watched him from a distance. for all we know, martin turned around and charged him.

also, not once has this been reported, but it would be nice to know what he was doing in that neighborhood to begin with. he didn't live there. and yes, it matters since we know he didn't live there. unless the reason was valid, it gives more credence to zimmerman's claims of how suspicious he was acting and how it was reasonable to follow such a person.

Trayvon Martin was walking back to his father's fiancee's house in the gated community after a visit to the store, so it's actually well know what he was doing there it's well documented why he was there, and it's actually been reported hundreds of times. Honestly, you should stop posting on this topic since you obviously are clueless about the incident.
