Trayvon Martin: Looks like another Duke Lacrosse Team situation?

No Obama practically made himself a part of the Martin family. "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." Now he's linked himself to this issue on a personal level.

I'm not decided on this case but I really don't like the fact that zimmerman got out of his car with a concealed carry weapon.

That is asking for trouble and great trouble ensued. I'm not sure yet what degree of culpability he has but I would say he is culpable to some degree.

I have a CCW for a number of years. One thing you do not do is insert yourself into a scenario where you may have to pull your weapon. Ask zimmerman if he wished he stayed in his car now...

I would bet Obama would like that one back.

New video of Zimmerman the night of the incident shows him walking around...he has a very buzzed head, yet theres no blood on the back of his head...or bandage. His jacket also looks pretty clean.

@ 9-11 seconds into the tape, you can clearly see his mouth and nose are swollen, along with his right eye. @ 53 seconds you see the officer looking at the back of his head. @1:06 you can clearly see a large knot on the back of his head. this is after paramedics treated and cleaned the wounds.this is poor journalism. poor indeed.





I can't clearly see anything. I clearly see no blood on his head or jacket and head-wounds bleed profusely.
Not damning evidence but it doesn't support martin slamming his head on the sidewalk either.

Nor does him not going to the hospital that night. A head injury from having your head slammed in the pavement would leave anybody to fear a concussion. I do not believe they would have sent him home to get a good night's sleep before going to seek medical attention the next day.

They say the paramedics treated him and he refused further medical attention. He certainly didn't need any stitches.

Again, punching a person in the right spot takes the person down that's just the way it body works.

This is a idiotic comparison. In the Duke case, no one was raped or assaulted in any way. It was completely made up. So unless Swishy is suggesting Trayvon is hanging out with Elvis and Tupac at a corner gas station, not even close. Trayvon is dead, clearly something went down. Its just a matter if your believe Zimmerman's story or believe what the available evidence seems to spell out.

I was suspended from school 7 times in my junior year of high school, my best friend got caught shoplifting that same year. I knew she was doing it. I also smoked pot and moved on to bigger drugs for quite awhile....I was a kid and made a ton of bad choices. None of which did I deserved to die for. Now, I'm a responsible,drug free single mother who has an education, a good job and a pretty great life.

And even if those things are true about Trayvon, Zimmerman knew none of it. It is completey irrelevent legally and in every sense of the word...IRRELEVENT.
