Turns out Trayvon Martin was a thug after all....Will Robin report it?

Someone leaked private info about the case. turns out he was on suspension at the time of the shooting, and had been suspended 3 times this school year alone. Once his bag was searched and they found women's jewelry and a flat head screwdriver, which pointed to him being a thief as well.

Also a twitter to Martin from one of his cousins which mentioned the kid taking a swing at a bus driver.

oh, and an EYEWITNESS says he say Martin on top of the guy who shot him, and he was smashing the guys head into the pavement. The police found head wounds on the shooter and wet grass all over his back, which meant he had been laying on his back.

Doesn't matter if he is a thug. He was minding his own business walking home from the store and got shot by an asshole who was told by the cops to leave him alone but didn't. Zimmerman should be in jail period. People can't even defend him so they try to make the victim look bad.

Hit the nail on the head... Zimmerman had no business following him after the 911 dispatcher advised him to back off.. He did not listen to the authorities and had no business getting into a confrontation with the suspect.. Simply call the authorities and let the law enforcement officers handle it.

I dont know what happened, but all I know is we should be able to discuss the situation without being afraid of being called a racist. If Trayvon really did beat Zimmerman to an inch of his death, then under Florida law Zimmerman did not commit a crime. If people are upset they should go after the law, not the guy who followed it. Either way it's a tragedy that any life had to end early, even if he wore a gold grill, had ghetto tattoos, and sold pot. Teenagers are stupid, gold grills and selling pot is the black equivalent of stupid white "emo" teens dressing like goth idiots and cutting themselves.

I'm just not sure where the whole racist angle comes into play. Was Zimmerman calling him a N1GG3R when he shot him or something?? I don't get it.

Why do people keep calling him white? Is Obama white? No, he's black and Zimmerman is Hispanic. The only reason he is being called white is because it makes the story. A typical punk kid was killed by an overzealous douchebag, it's yet to be determined if there was a crime. There are people involved that have more information than any of us have that haven't been tainted by the media. Although, if there was enough evidence to prove him guilty believe me they'd have him locked up right now so they could gain a few political points. The fact that it hasn't happened speaks volumes.

I think what happened was basically this: A man with a gun followed and accosted an unarmed teenager ( Fact ). A fight broke out, and the guy with the gun got his ass kicked by the skinny, unarmed teen ( Conjecture ). He responded to getting his ass kicked by shooting the unarmed teenager ( Fact ).

Anyone got a problem with this?

Because he's name is ZIMMERMAN, and he's caucasian. I also have latino heritage, and a non-ethnic sounding last name. I too would be considered white.

He may or may not have called him a "fuckin' coon" in the call to the dispatcher.

My memory is fuzzy, but there were reports that he had a history of sending emails complaining about black people causing trouble in the neighborhood. So that gives rise to the theory that he followed Trayvon, and thought he looked suspicious, just because he was black.

I'm not even sure if you're serious or not, but the story of Martin slamming Zimmerman's head into the ground came from Zimmerman's own account. Tell me something, if you an I get into a fight, and you're winning, am I justified in shooting you?

If I were to attack you and pummel you so that you feared you might die you would be justified in shooting me.

Therein lies the problem with this whole incident - how did the altercation start, and who was the aggressor? One currently popular argument is that following someone in the manner Zimmerman is reported to have done makes you the aggressor.

If thats the case draw your weapon at the attacker and tell him to back off and that police are on their way, and i'm pretty sure the attacker at that point will back off , if that doesnt work fire a warning shot.

This I actually don't agree with. Sure, you can do that if you want, but if you're attacked and reasonably feel your life is in danger, then I have no issue with responding with deadly force.

This would be true if you instigated the altercation. What you can't do, is start a fight with someone, then once you are losing, shoot them and claim self defense.

It came from an eye witness account and yes is Florida you are justified shooting some one that is beating you up if you feel your in danger. Again, if there was an ounce of doubt he'd be in jail right now.
