    I've turned off a lot of crap and i'm checking everything out. I'll turn stuff on a little at a time.

    The host is investigating a problem. "we show a large number of connections being held open which may be related to an attack against the server."

    Also, I found that Internet Brands (the company that owns vBulletin) is stealing our bandwidth. As an FU, I switched all the smilies they were stealing to a new graphic. it's one thing when users hotlink images. that's just part of the internet. these assholes actually setup their smilie codes linking directly to our hosting similes. whot he fuck knows how long they've been doing it.

    when we are all fixed up, I have a xen update to do. I'm not even going to try until all this is sorted out.
