The Virginia Tech shooter killed over 30 people and he was just armed with handguns.

This guy was able to bring in a tear gas canister or a smoke grenade - he could have easily brought in one or two real grenades and done a hell of a lot of damage.

The point being - guns don't kill people....people kill people.

Your absolutely correct, the Constitution allows you to keep and bear arms, doesn't say you have the right to keep them in your home. I can see a scenario in the future where the firearms you own by law must be kept in a government facility and you have to check them out similar to library books....

Bottom line, there are all kinds of work arounds the government can do to follow the spirit of the Constitution, yet at the same time restrict your right to get a hold of them.
