I was on Live Chat on Comcast. I talked to someone about what I needed to get to watch the Olympics and I would have to pay 60 extra dollars. F that nonsense. 60 plus what I'm paying for basic + Internet, no way. I'm checking out gignews now.

Yeah... I have Verizon FiOS in the house. I connect to the Verizon supplied wireless router with a cheap belkin USB wifi adapter.

For the VPN, I'm using linux so I didn't need to install any app or anything from giganews. I just setup a new vpn networking connection and put in the numbers that giganews' site told me I needed to.

It works pretty nice... at speedtest.net I normally get 5 to 10mbps when I'm logged in to the London VPN. This is enough to stream HD perfectly with no bufering. (you need to get about 2.5mbps for HD)

I got it. You can't connect during free trial so I activated full service.

There are so many good science, art and history documentaries on the real UK BBC channels that I don't bother looking for those type of shows on US channels anymore.

The only thing I watch from over here nowadays is Mythbusters and PBS Nova or maybe if some guy catches on fire in a NASCAR race, I'll watch a little of that too
