Who do you more often side with: Howard or Fred?

During Wednesday's show, Fred tried to explain the Captain Pike Star Trek actor difference (specifically that there were two actors to play Captain Pike: one walking on the planet and one in the box). Howard, and Robin, used the opportunity to not understand Fred (either intentionally or not). As usual, this led to a mini Fred explosion.

Howard often digs under Fred's skin when he sees a moment of opportunity. Fred can sometimes over react, but also he is often right.

I heard that and they treated Fred dreadfully!

Yea. Fred's always getting shit on. He tends to over react in a funny way, but I still usually agree with Fred's point of view.

It gets worse when Robin jumps on the Howie band wagon. She's douches it up ten notches.

fred always gets shit on ? fred is the kind of guy who if you tapped him on the arm, he would punch you in the gut, kick you in the nuts and then stomp your face. his reaction to sal, jackie and stuttering john was always insane. he would shit on jackie for hours, and jackie would say the mildest thing, then fred would threaten to spit hot coffee in his face after shooting a paper ball at him. i completely understand that fred doesn't want anyone fucking with him because of the shit he had to deal with in his childhood , but i've always resented him a little bit for being off limits. he never took 1/10 of the abuse or humiliation as gary and jackie.

as for who is usually right, well, we all know fred is probably the smartest staff member there. too bad he didn't take the iq test.

I don't think Fred's as smart as everyone says he is. He knows his encyclopedia cover to cover but when it comes to forming logical arguments he's really a lightweight. He didn't take the IQ test because he didn't want to be exposed. He had even more to lose from a bad score than Howard or Robin.

I definitely think Fred, Robin, AND Howard should have taken the IQ test. All of them act like the smartest people on the planet (but I would say Fred is closest among the three).

i think howard would fall somewhere between ralph and gary. i know people will think i'm crazy for thinking gary is smarter. i think fred could beat scott depace and perhaps even Will, but maybe anus has a point about fred's deductive reasoning. I have no effing clue about robin, sometimes she shows herself to be smarter than howard, other times, she is bat shit crazy.

i could understand why howard didn't take it. he has admitted many times that he has no memory, is bad at test and was bad at school . for him to get a lower score than "ra ra retard" would be humiliating. he probably asked robin and fred to sit out so it didn't look like he was the only one avoiding it.

Totally right on all points. Though I was a little pissed at first, I personally gave Howard a pass on not taking the IQ test back when they took 'em because that would be a major mistake. How could he function as an effective boss, let alone "maker of fun at the staff's expense" if he turned out to be dumber than Richard Christy (not quite how the IQ test works, but it would be interpreted that way for the rest of time)?

what stuff did fred go thru in his childhood?

ha ha, i actually thought it could be possible that Richard would beat him, but if i had to bet, i would still bet that howard would beat him by a very small margin.
