They have been trying to bullshit us with that for years. They believe in trickle down and Santa Claus.

Don't forget the eternal Boogeyman they have to believe in. Like little children really.

That's so we can continue to fund General Dynamics, Raytheon, Haliburton and many more. They are good campaign contributors you know.

Well, if they were looking for someone to beat Obama in basketball, than Ricky Rubio would be an awesome choice, but I think you mean Marco. I think Marco would be a great choice, he'd definitely energize the party.

What, you've never heard of Medicare Advantage?

Read first, then figure out if the Huffington editorials depict an accurate analysis :jj:

I won't argue about dropping the corporate tax. I would abolish it. Then I would make everyone pay for their own Medicare. Businesses would no longer be responsible for our health care. Those two things should bring back plenty of businesses.

Those would be a good start.

The government basically gutted the welfare cash benefit rolls and now they are looking to do the same with medicare and food stamps. Both Romney and Ryan approve of it.

It did get people off the welfare rolls and working but did jack-shit about poverty rates or changing the family dynamic. Only a good paying job does that, too bad we keep shipping them overseas. We are fucking ourselves so badly...

It was Clinton who signed the welfare reform act. Funny how republicans like to talk budget. Their votes tell another story...
  11. NC-Stern-Mark Full Member

He did have a republican congress...

Welfare rolls are empty. 5 year lifetime cap, Arizona just shortened to 2 years lifetime.

yep, no more welfare, just the same poverty levels. We are going the way of the third world. I'm going to have to start donating time and money to good food pantry, that is probably the most effective charity out there right now.

Romney better choose carefully. There are some sound bites that will be played 16 times an hour. Here is one. "Let them die"

  13. NC-Stern-Mark Full Member

Ron Paul is a loon radical libertarian.
  14. dogcow Full Member

he neither says nor implies "let them die" and actually calls out the AMA for being a bunch of thugs. some solid points

Palin because this election is already a joke. They aren't even trying to give the illusion of choice anymore, same guy vs same guy.
  16. 1vegasgirl Full Member

That was only because he had a Republican House and Newt Gingrich was the Speaker of the House.
  17. Chrisfromvegas Full Member

He could have vetoed it. He didn't. He owns it.

3 generations of military, married 23 years with a beautiful family, successful, and a fine example of an African American who is living the American Dream. Why do Liberals HATE successful black men who don't need the government's tit to suck off?

can you tell us who is paying for his congressional salary, Dick? I mean other than the special interest lobby money that is, Dick :jj:
  20. NickNuke Full Member

Same folks who pay Obama, Yellah Toofis.

Liberals want to destroy this guy, but anyone who comes up against him get owned. He is shrewd smart guy, and a great example of what this country needs.
  21. walygatr Full Member

Richard Nixon signed OSHA and EPA into existence, but never "owned" them.

whoa, slow the deflection, Dick :jj:
you mean the gubmint is paying your negro messiah? :jj:
