Dislike button and allow probation members allowed to like posts and make new threads.

Probational members should be allowed to correct their posts. Sometimes there are spelling errors or grammatical problems that you would like to correct but cannot. This is especially embarrassing.

An advanced ignore feature that prevents people who you ignore from ever seeing your posts/threads, following you, or sending you messages.

I will second two above. make the site look like the old one more, it had a quirky character that was perfect, this look is same as ever diy forum on the web. and an option to view 50 or 100 posts per page would rock. thanks Mutt!

Hey Mutt, sorry to be redundant but a sports board I am on has a feature where a user can ignore a thread. Once done, it completely disappears from the thread list. Clears the clutter and leaves you looking at just those threads you might be interested in.

That would be cool in my opinion.

On the old board, at the to if each thread was a tab that, when clicked, would show all the posters in each thread....and next to the id was the number of posts that member had in that thread....and when clicked on the number, only that posters posts would show

It was useful for very large threads when you only wanted to see the posts of a certain poster

yeah i liked that feature also.

Although it takes a little more effort, that function still basically exists. While you are in a thread, if you do a search (top right), there is criteria that you can select to search for "Posted By Member" and :Search this thread only", however I don't see a search bar while in threads here. maybe because I am in probation. Hope that helps.

I hope upping posts per page to 100 is high up on the priority list. I see where Mutt said he didn't see a way to make it user customizable, but it sounded like he could change it globally.

Bigger size avatars, just like before on old sfn format. it makes it easier to spot posters and reading their replies. And by the way I like the new feature: what's new", makes it whole lots of effecient time wise to catch up with new threads compare to old format.

Anyway we can look at users old posts/ threads before the reboot or has that ship already sailed? Thanks Mutt

it's not a huge deal...but occasional when somebody says something...or there is some sort of game going on (football picks, etc), it helps to know if a post was edited and when it was edited
