XM to Sirius Conversion?

    I am purchasing A 2006 Accord and it comes with XM (BOOOOO!)

    anyone knwo a way to convert this, last i heard it was still in development.

    What kind of radio is in the Accord? I seem to remember some 2U high units in older Accords, but know nothing about newer ones.

    There are several ways to go about getting Sirius in the Accord. The easiest would be to buy a Sirius unit and use FM modulation or go direct into the stereo if it has an Aux input. Another option is to replace the factory radio, which can be easy or complicated with steering wheel controls, dash integrated displays and so forth.

    Your best bet might be to find an Accord forum... I imagine this sort of thing is being done or talked about.

    fm modulation sucks in comparision to direct input ... as for buying and american car ... well ill stick with the cars that i get 15 years out of ...


    so far all ive found is soundgate is making a piece similar to the one for gm's, but it hasnt been released yet

    Buy American.. Well I just bought American two weeks ago. A 2007 GMC Yukon and it has XM.. I need that GM Sirius Connect. I wish people knew when they were coming out.

    i bought an equinox over the weekend..found out today that without replacing the factory stereo, 6 disk changer there is no way...however in 6 to 8 weeks a wire harness will be coming out that will allow this to happen...
