Sirius really got suckered. They got Howard, but now the show is nowhere near as listenable as it was when Artie was there, and they only got him 3 days a week (less on holiday Mondays) for 40 weeks.

Any other show on Sirius have a part time host?

The only sucker is you, if you listen to a show you consider unlistenable, or if you pay for something you consider unworthy of the fee.

Or if you steal it, you're a douchebag, no better than some asswipe stealing hubcaps.

I'm sure there are some hosts that work only one or two or three days a week but that's completely irrelevant anyways. Howard is unique.

My issue is with the 4 shows of travesty they put on these 4 days we're marooned without a decent hour of airtime and the extra heavy load of mayonaisse flavored bullshit into our wounds because of this filler........Jay Thomas and friends are cool.....

I cant say I disagree with koclem. When they came to Sirius, suddenly they suddenly needed a Columbus Day vacation, which even Howard mocked to Robin last October (it may have been Oct 2010, please forgive) when he was like "didnt we take Columbus Day Week off at K-rock" and Robin immediately answered "No".

I cant remember exactly when they needed a whole week for Presidents Day. I dont think they even did that the first couple years @ Sirius.

But jesus christ, with the Summer months being totally abandoned, and their most recent Jack in the Box surprise being the 4 hour work days (casey kasem voice "FOUR?!") lopped onto us with the 3 day work week at the same time, im punch-drunk and not thinking clearly anymore.

Yeah, he's the typical "I hate it so much but I can't stop listening" type isn't he? At least some of his bizarre theories are good for a laugh.

Howie is deservant of the upcoming vacation time. All the bits he has been working on lately, and the AGT talk on top of all that has to have him exhausted. I wonder if The Chatter will be off next week also..I do not know what I am going to do without that show.

All of the AGT talk has me longing for the days of Howard's flirtation with American Idol. Back then, I remember constantly thinking to myself, "again? seriously... move on!" ENOUGH AGT TALK!!! Not one freaking show has even aired. Just wait. If it is this bad now, we will get constant breakdowns of every single aspect of that week's show. Whatever AGT paid Howard, it was probably not enough. They couldn't get better advertising anywhere else. The STern Show becomes a wrap-up show for AGT.
